Jug, earthenware, ovoid form, standing on an oblong spreading waisted foot, bulbous sides sloping inwards at the shoulder to a straight-sided neck with rounded lip-rim, plain beak spout, square-shouldered loop handle with raised thumb-spur, the exterior sides of the jug moulded with a raised rural decoration of figures with cattle and trees, the exterior neck moulded with a band of raised oakleaves, a raised moulded leaf to the body beneath the spout and the handle; the moulded areas to the exterior body overpainted in pink lustre and in brown and green enamels, the moulded leaves beneath the spout and handle edged in pink lustre, pink lustre bands around the foot-rim and lip-rim, a running pattern of stylized leaves in pink lustre between pink lustre edges to the handle. The foot-rim and spout chipped, the handle broken and repaired.
