St. Elvis silver-lead-copper mine, negative
A view over Dinas Fawr Head near Solva of the remains of St. Elvis silver-lead-copper mine. This small lead / copper mine dates back to c.1528. Intermittently worked during the 17th century, and again in the middle of the 19th century. Remains of two adits, one partially open immediately south of the east-west vein (probably 17th century), and a later one, now collapsed, on the cliff edge.
