Roman copper alloy penannular brooch
The ring is of rectangular section. The front face has a series of oblique ribs set in a groove. The surviving terminal is in the form of a pseudo-zoomorphic head formed by turning the end back on itself. Fowler (1960) type E1. Condition: only about half the ring survives, pin missing.
