ECM: St. Davids; pillar cross (replica)
Fragment of a large sculptured wheel-cross head (? of a free-standing pillar cross) comprising two opposite arms; one partly fractured away, and the stumps of the wheel. The cross is of Anglian type, with a raised central ring-and-boss, (? damaged) splayed arms, and rounded arm-pits edged with cable-mouldings; suggestive of work of the Viking period.
