Dish, centre
Centre dish, earthenware, irregular octagonal shape, standing on a spreading short pedestal foot, an incised band around the foot-rim, rounded curving sides flaring slightly to either end of the dish; painted in polychrome enamels with five different rural landscape scenes featuring figures, castles, cottages and other rural elements, each scene enclosed by a circular gilt border, four of the scenes are around the exterior sides of the dish and one is to the centre of the well, a gilt edge to the foot-rim and lip-rim. The sides of the dish cracked.
