Nantgarw China Works (1813 - 1822)
Plate, soft-paste porcelain with a creamy translucency; standing on a straight sided foot rim, curving into cushion moulded and slightly curved spreading sides; lobed lip with six large and six small lobes; groove moulded cavetto; painted with six bouquets of flowers around the edge and one in the centre, in monochrome overglaze blue; gilt scalloped lip.
