Nantgarw China Works (1813 - 1822)
Dish, soft-paste porcelain with a creamy, slightly buff translucency; standing on a foot rim curving into flared spreading sides; lobed lip with five large and five small lobes, moulded with c-scrolls and ribbon-tied flowers and foliage; groove moulded cavetto; painted with three flower sprays around the edge and cavetto, and three sprigs and a single rose scattered around the centre; gilt band to the lip.
