Jug, pearlware, standing on a rounded spreading foot-rim, globular body, cylindrical neck, plain beak spout, scrolled loop handle; the exterior of the jug covered with silver lustre against which are reserved to either side of the body two round panels transfer-printed in purple with a landscape showing in the foreground figures and sheep and in the background a large house surrounded by trees, the silver lustre areas decorated using silver lustre resist techniques with to the front of the body below the spout a wheel-shaped motif surrounded by foliate sprays, with further foliate sprays to the body around the handle, geometric border of overlapping oval-shapes around the exterior neck, a white band around the shoulder, two white stripes to the handle, a silver lustre band around the interior lip-rim and spout. The foot-rim chipped.
