simple standard-size lovespoon, carved in dark wood; it has a flat but relatively narrow stem, which features crude relief-carving, mainly linear and geometric patterns; in its upper section the stem is centrally pierced, presumably for hanging purposes; bowl is oval and pointed, and angled forward in a scimitar-like curve
