Medieval silver brooch pin
A pin from a small silver annular brooch. The pin shaft is plain and of circular cross-section. The head of the pin securing it to the annular frame of the brooch is also plain, above a small transverse ‘bar’ at the junction of pin shaft and head which is oval in plan, to prevent snagging.
