Custard cup and cover, creamware, the glaze almost colourless, bellied cup with flaring lip standing on a narrow foot rim, C-scroll handle; flattened domed cover with bead finial; both cup and cover decorated with the crest of a bull's head in iron red camaieu, border of a thin red line within a thicker one, red line to handle and foot.
