Animal figure
Figure of a couchant lion, earthenware, on a rectangular plinth with slightly spreading base, the lion couchant and realistically moulded with flowing mane, folded back legs, outstretched front legs and tail curving round to one side; covered all over with a brown glaze which has then been overpainted in silver lustre, this lustre badly worn.
