Milk jug
Milk jug, hard-paste porcelain, standing on three short legs, globular body, raised lip-rim with a waved edge rising up at one end into a short spout, plain loop handle; finely painted in polychrome enamels with to the front of the exterior body of the jug a scene showing a duck dabbling in a patch of water, two scattered floral sprigs to the rest of the exterior body, around the exterior lip-rim and spout a rococo border with a flowered trellis pattern in puce enclosed by a band of yellow and brown scrolls, a brown edge to the lip-rim and spout, the legs and handle splashed with green. A crack to the body beneath the handle, the spout chipped.
