Toilet pot and cover
Toilet pot, soft-paste porcelain, standing on a short cylindrical foot-rim, cylindrical sides with spreading lip-rim, round domed cover with to the top an elaborate pinecone finial; finely painted in polychrome enamels with to either side of the exterior body of the toilet pot and to either side of the top of the cover Italianate landscapes with trees, buildings and distant hills, gilt edges to the lip-rim of the toilet pot and the rim of the cover, the finial picked out in gilt. The rim of the cover slightly chipped.
