Jar, of tin-glazed buff earthenware, standing on a concave base, baluster-form body with shelved lip rim; covered with a creamy-white tin glaze and decorated with horizontal banding in underglaze blue with a central band of linear decoration; large and small chevrons in ochre yellow and brown; the lip rim unglazed; the base much encrusted and flaking.
