Jug and cover
Jug, hard-paste porcelain,standing on a flaring foot-rim, bulbous body, cylindrical neck, raised spout, high loop handle, domed cover with a finial modelled in the form of a pear; the jug finely painted in polychrome enamels with to either side a view of an exotic bird amidst flowering plants, a floral spray to the cover, gilt bands around the foot-rim and lip-rim of the jug, the spout edged in gilt and decorated with a gilt scrolling design, the handle decorated with stylized foliage in gilt, a dull gilt edge to the cover with a border of red semi-circles, the pear finial painted in yellow and green.
