Neolithic pottery vessel
Body sherds from a ?Mortlake bowl. Up to 17mm thick, quite friable and contains inclusions up to 9mm across. The decoration on four of the sherds appears to comprise random fingernail impressions while a shoulder sherd appears to have the shoulder accentuated with closely-spaced diagonal fingernail impressions arranged in a kind of cable pattern.
