Plate, earthenware, recessed flat base, the sides cushion-moulded with waved outer rim; transfer-printed in blue with the 'Willow' pattern; in the centre, pagoda-style buildings, the willow tree and a trellis work fence, a bridge leading to an island with three figures crossing; on the island, a building and a tree, behind the island, a boat with a further figure on board all surmounted by two birds with tails and wings aloft, facing one another; the cavetto with diaper decoration, the rim with ornate scrollwork and geometric and Greek key style motifs, on a scaled ground with dentilled border to outer rim.
