Plate, earthenware, recessed footring, 8-notched rim, printed in blue with 'Elephant Rocks' pattern of peonies and a fence, and with two elephant-like rocks in foreground. Border pattern of oriental flowers under a diaper band, conventional pattern of curls and triangles around cavetto. Rubbed.
