Milk jug
Milk jug, dark red earthenware, standing on a spreading waisted foot-rim with a band of beading around it, bulbous reeded lower body sloping inwards at the shoulder to a concave neck, flaring lip-rim, three bands of beading around the shoulder, the neck moulded with raised foliate sprays, wide raised spout, high elaborate scrolled loop handle with raised thumb-spur; covered all over with silver lustre. The spout chipped.
