Post-Medieval clay pipe
Complete clay pipe bowl, partial stem and flat, rounded heel stamped with maker's mark. Outer surface of bowl has been trimmed. Incised line along part of the rim on the external surface. Maker's stamp is a square border with maker's name across three lines in relief: MAR[Y] HVG H[ES] Although the 'y' of MAry is obscured. Could read Mark instead.
