Cinerary Jar on a Floating Ground V

Floating cinerary jar with cover in white, glazed porcelain, the ground formed of a wooden base and back covered with very dark grey Venetian plaster, the jar with a flat unglazed base and broadly triangular cross-section, tapering sides and flat shoulders with circular inset cover, the body has two evenly spaced, concentric, horizontal 'ribs' around its circumference, these have been left in a relatively unfinished state in some areas and small scrpaings of clay are visible, the plaster base is constructed in wood with a layer of Venetian plaster on the visible faces and has a flat platform and perpendicular back.
