Roman copper alloy fly brooch
Fly brooch with a trumpet-shaped head and a projecting pierced tab. The spring, of three turns, is held by an axial bar, which is secured between two lugs. The plate is in the form of the wings of a fly, inlaid with blue enamel and the insect's head is represented by a small moulding with two gashes for the eyes.
