Cooking-pot crane
One movement pot crane from Gwernogle, Carmarthenshire. A plain turned vertical shaft with a flat horizontal arm, terminating with a scroll decoration. These were common in Wales from the 1600s until the 1950s. They allowed pots to be moved closer or further away from the fire.
