Welsh Folk Museum Answer Book, 1959 written in Welsh by D.J. Williams, Fishguard (1885-1970) containing notes about the history of the horse in the area of Rhydycymerau, Carmarthenshire about 1900. Answer Books were sent out by the Welsh Folk Museum in 1958 to individuals across Wales as a way of collecting and documenting information on aspects of folk culture in their areas, including agriculture, crafts, food, customs and dialects. The responses were hand-written in the books. The Answer Books had a similar purpose to the earlier questionnaires sent out in 1937.
