buff stoneware, maroon lead-glaze; moulded foot, flattened oviform body, each side moulded in relief with a crowned, wreathed and inscribed medallion of two standing peacocks flanking a tree containing a smaller bird; also sprigged on the shoulders with with four 3/4 length angels, all picked out in pink, white, yellow, green and blue enamels and gilding, blue band above; short neck, pewter lip and screw cover with brass ring handle.
