Solid oak stool, late 17th century of pegged morticed and tenon construction; four splayed legs joined by square-section stretchers, baluster-turned legs raised on ring-turned feet; rail decorated with punch-mark design; seat secured by 4 square-section dowells into end-grain of legs; hand pit-sawn timber; perforated label to underside of seat with illegible ink script.
