Jug, earthenware, gourd-shaped body with a trumpet-shaped neck atop which sits an inverted bell-shaped spout with a flattened rim, footring with high grooved sides, loop handle; the rim of the spout and the rim of the main body are painted and glazed in black with a border of double looped lines and dots within black horizontal lines, the neck is decorated and glazed with a border of black vertical lines within black horizontal lines, the base is decorated with a wave motif border, the main body is decorated with three female figures in classical dress against a glazed black ground.
