Teapot, hard-paste porcelain, bulbous body tapering towards the base, short curved spout, scroll handle; painted in polychrome enamels with to the front of the body a group of fruit and leaves bordered below by rococo scrolls in puce, scattered insects including large moths around the rest of the body, chocolate-brown lines around the spout, handle and neck.
