Pardoe, Thomas (1770-1823)

Dish of soft-paste porcelain with creamy-white translucency; oblong with rounded corners and flat bottom, standing on a tapering footrim, with spreading curved sides, the rim rising towards each end, where it is shell- and scroll-moulded; painted inside round the sides with continuous bands of flowers, a gilt band round the rim, details of the shell moulding gilt.
