Tureen and stand
Tureen, pale cream-coloured earthenware, standing on a roughly oval spreading foot with a shaped foot-rim with shell-like moulding to it, oval body with rounded curving sides, a shaped waving edge to the lip-rim with shell-like moulding to it, to either end of the tureen twin solid scrolled handles, wide spreading foliate moulding spreads down from the handles across both ends of the body; the moulded edges to the foot-rim, lip-rim, handles and foliate moulding picked out with puce feathered bands. Stand, pale cream-coloured earthenware, oval shape with flat base, curving sides and spreading rim, a shaped edge to the rim with shell-like moulding, foliate moulding to the rim to either side of the stand the stems of which form short solid handles; the moulded edges to the rim and to the foliate moulding picked out with puce feathered bands.
