Jug
Jug, of pale-buff stoneware, standing on a ribbed pedestal foot, bulbous body with raised cordon at shoulder, cylindrical neck, extensively restored; strap handle; the body, on the exterior, covered with a thin pale iron-brown wash with a light salt glaze giving a freckled appearance, the colouration darker toward the base and the glaze thicker creating a more mottled appearance; unglazed patches of the grey stoneware body appearing around the lower and central body.
