Penyrorsedd Quarry, photograph
Photograph captioned ''Penyrorsedd Slate Quarry. The small metal trams, running on narrow gauge rails on the flat ground above the quarry, which carry slate slabs to the dressing sheds. The tram which carries the dressed slates is four-sided as distinct from another, open-ended type seen in the middle distance. Small trams on narrow gauge railways transported the finished slates from the quarries to the ports; to Bangor, to Portmadoc and Port Dinorwic.'' Mounted on card. Made for the exhibition RECORDING WALES 3 in 1970/1971.
