Standing figure of Sir Robert Peel , white earthenware, crackled glaze, on a irregular rectangular base inscribed in gilt raised capitals on a small plaque. In contemporary dress, black shoes, white trousers, underglaze blue frock coat with gilt detailing, white waistcoat with a fine pattern of purple and blue circles and purple and green dots, white neck tie, naturalistically painted face, brown hair, holding speech across chest with his right hand, left hand resting on hip, head slightly bent forward, rusticated white pedestal behind.
