CARMIA (7050gt) : Built 1943 as EMPIRE FLAG by Sir W.G.Armstrong-Whitworth & Co (Shipbuilders) Ltd., Newcastle-upon-Tyne, for the MoWT, managed by New Zealand Shipping Co., London. 1946 – Sold to Donaldson Atlantic Line Ltd., and renamed CARMIA. 1954 – Sold to Blue Star Line Ltd., and renamed VICTORIA STAR. 1955 – Sold to Williamson & Co. Ltd., Hong Kong, and renamed INCHEARN. She was transferred to Douglas Steamship Co., and broken up at Osaka, Japan, in 1966. (wikipedia)
