Prosthetic arm
Above elbow prosthetic (artificial) arm with articulated fingers for use for an amputation above the elbow; the wearer was able to bend and lock the forearm in various positions without using the other hand; above elbow socket made of rawhide with laquered wash; elbow and forearm of aluminium and hand made of wood with mortice-and-tenon joints; forearm and upper arm joined at the elbow with bracing and rivets.
