Sugar bowl
Hunt and Roskell, London (1843 - 1897)
Sugar bowl, circular, standing on shallow gadrooned foot, the lower part of the body embossed with a 'hobnail' scale pattern, gadrooned shoulders, and low neck, cast band of twisted gadroons, shells and anthemions at the lip, two curved handles comprising two linked serpents; the interior gilt. Engraved on one side with two crests, a sea dog's head (Broughton) and out of a ducal coronet, a demi heron displayed, between a baronet's badge.
