Cup of pale buff earthenware, standing on a narrow waisted foot, bulbous body, tapering toward shoulder, flaring and ending with everted lip rim; remains of a broad loop handle; the lower body with swirled dark red slip over a creamy yellow slip base; the upper exterior sides with a rich dark brown glaze, decorated with small trailed creamy yellow slip motifs of interlinking curved lines; the lip and interior with the same creamy yellow slip covered in a transparent glaze, the glaze collected in a glassy pool in the central well.
