Tray, hard-paste porcelain, oval form with raised sides and a shaped edge; painted in polychrome enamels with to the well a landscape with two wild ducks escaping from a hawk which holds a further dead duck beneath its talons, the scene surrounded by scattered floral sprigs, to the sides of the tray a lattice border in puce edged by yellow rococo scrolls below, a brown line around the rim.
