Plate, plate cream-coloured earthenware with a soft greenish tinge to the glaze, circular shape with flat base, curving sides and spreading rim, a ribbed and wavy shaped edge to the rim, the rim divided into six panels by raised ribs; bat-printed in black with to the centre of the well a coastal landscape with in the foreground figures unloading a moored sailing boat and a rocky outcrop forming a natural archway, beyond sailing boats on the sea, around the rim a running border of oak leaves and acorns. The rim chipped.
