Medieval gold finger ring
A decorative gold finger ring.
The ring has an oval bezel for a stone or glass setting (now missing). Each side of the bezel bears a central vertical 'repousse' line in the sheet metal. The ring is constructed from a sheet metal in hollow fashion so that the D-shaped cross-section of the hoop is hollow.
