Mug, hard-paste porcelain, cylindrical with straight sides, flat base, one loop handle formed from two interlacing cables; the handle is moulded with horizontal lines, the edge is gilded, the rim is painted with a border of gold fruit and flowers against a border of gold triangles on a dark blue ground, painted with a chinoiserie landscape containing pagodas, mountains and a lake in gold against a dark blue ground.
