Early Bronze Age pottery beaker
Fine grey ware fired to a warm buff on the well-smoothed outer surface. Neck portion slightly convex with flat-topped rim, thick, flat base. Decoration consists of notched lines, grouped in threes, fours, fives and sixes to form two zones, that with an outlined pattern filling the space between horizontal bands, that on the belly with two zones of lozenges framed and seperated by grouped horizontal lines and the base. Clarke (1970) group S2(W). Lanting and Van der Waals (1972) step 2.
