Cup and saucer
Cup and saucer, earthenware, Rex shape, the cup with indented base, ogee-curved sides and loop handle flat on the outside and rounded on the inner side, the saucer standing on a small shallow foot ring and with curved sides and slightly everted rim, a well in the centre; decorated with the 'Blue Gentian' pattern (2398), a transfer-printed lithograph comprising a group of flowers in blue, green and pink and with a painted band in green inside the rim of the cup and round the rim of the saucer.
