Roman copper alloy T shaped brooch
There is an imperforate tab, with a circular sinking, above the head; flanged margins run down either side of the badly damaged bow which is decorated with an incised cross belwo the head and tapers to a moulded foot. There is a one sided catchplate. At Nor'nour an incised cross was found to occur on several different types of brooch, perhaps reflecting the repertoire of a single workshop.
