Site Name: Maes-hwyaid Farm, Welsh St. Donats
Date: 1969
Notes: From a primary burial in a round barrow, 400 yards south-west of the farm. The knife was found in the collared urn (69.121/1), along with the bone pin (69.121/2) and the burnt bones of a mature person (69.121/4). This is a different round barrow to the one excavated in 1973-74, the finds from which are under accession number 75.36H. The farm has also been referred to as Maes-y-Ward.
