ANTONIS ( gt) : Built 1943 as JOHN CONSTANTINE for US War Shipping Administration, by Permanente Metals Corp., Shipbuilding Division, Richmond, California (engine by Joshua Hendy Ironworks, Sunnyvale, California), managed by Isthmian Steamship Co., New York. 1947 – Sold to Spyros A. Lemos, Chios, and renamed ANTONIS,managed by Lemos & Pateras, London. 1959 – Sold to Cia Nav Somelga, Panama, now under the Liberian flag. Same name and manager. 1962 – Sold to Viasgura Cia Nav, Panama, and renamed DELIS, registered under the Lebanese flag, managed by Kulukundis, London. 1963 – Sold to Jayanti Shipping Co., Bombay and renamed BUDHA JAYANTI (under Indian flag). She was broken up at Bombay in 1966.
