Plate, earthenware, circular shape with rounded foot-rim, cushion-moulded sides and spreading rim, a slightly raised edge to the well; crudely painted in pink, blue, green and black with to the centre of the well a house with a spreading tree besides it in which an exotic bird is perched, a patch of ground an expanse of water in the foreground, stylized flowers to either side of the scene, dark brown bands to the edge of the well and the edge of the rim.
