Late Mesolithic flint scraper
A heavily white patinated flin convex-ended scraper. The retouched end is the distal with the bulb still present with a plain striking platofrm. The retouch is steep, non-invasive and is limited to the end.

Date: 1980-1982
Notes: Note that in the excavation seasons 1980, 1981 and 1982 the X axis was numbered alphabetically and the Y axis numerically. In 1986 this was reversed in error resulting in the X axis being numbered numerically and Y axis alphabetically. All the finds were marked during the excavation so are marked by grid square using the site system that was in place at the time. The 1986 finds coordinates have not been corrected.
