Tunic
Long-sleeved tunic blue with vertical narrow (just under 5mm) stripes of different colours (brown, light blue, pink and dark blue). Narrow stand-up collar (5cm).
Continuous strip of fabric (17cm wide) is attached along the hem at the front, from side seam to side seam. It is partly open along the top and subdivided by two vertical double-seams, forming three sections. The PR of these sections is stitched closed along the top but the other two are open, thereby forming two pockets.
Collar and strip used for pockets are applied at 90° with the stripes running in the horizontal direction.
Both warp and weft in the tabby weave structure are made of S-twist singles yarns. Each stripe (probably the weft, though no selvage was found to confirm) consists of 4 picks. All warps (?) are light blue.
The tunic has single turn-backs which are finished on the inside with overlock stiches.
